The need of Appreciation and the necessity to embrace it.
Before asking ourselves why appreciation is necessary, lets touch base about human greed in general for better understanding about appreciation. As we all know, often we do not appreciate things that got to us with ease, our human greed constantly craves for more and beyond what we already have.
The very beginning point is the perception of our mind from our vision, when we look around, oftentimes we only see the people who are better in comparison to us - wow! Cool car, nice house, high paying job, stunning looks and the list goes on and on. But do we really say it out loud from the heart, this is what makes the difference between greed and appreciation. Instead of appreciating, we tend to set higher goals, benchmark ourselves and keep striving and striving without an end to comparison. In this process, we neither appreciate the achievers nor at the least appreciate ourselves by enjoying with what we already have.
So, Is there a way to come out of this entanglement of greed. Well! one possible way to improve the happy quotient in life is through appreciating ourselves by enjoying with what we already have. Perhaps, this is where ones hobbies plays the key role - swimming, surfing, painting, books reading and writing, sledging, horseback riding, collecting coins, watching movies and the list goes on and on. Depending on the interest, the hobbies help us not only to spend the leisure time but also to attain a peaceful state of mind and improve the mental health.
Sometimes, We need a rejuvenation to bring back the goodwill.
Watching movies is one of the most common and the easiest hobby that’s popular among the wide spread of population through out the world. They are an amazing form of entertainment that make us laugh, cry, flinch, cheer, inspire and so on.
Perhaps, there are numerous movies that make us think, make us emotional, make us inspire, make us feel good. As we talked about greed and appreciation earlier, As I said, I would like to mention a list of films (irrespective of languages and boundaries) from my watched movies list that I really felt are inspiring and thought provocative. Undoubtedly, there are many wonderful movies apart from the ones mentioned but picking 12 movies that got released between 2000 - 2020, I felt are highly recommendable to watch.
